Jane's triumphant return

Our dearest viewers,

It has been a great many fortnights since last you heard from us on the subject of our dearest Jane. I am certain in these sunny days of summer that you, like me, have found many diverting activities to amuse yourself on Sunday evenings since we concluded our airing of The Complete Jane Austen. Perhaps you've even gone picnicking on Box Hill (or maybe you picked a hill closer to home like Queen Anne Hill or Capitol Hill due to the skyrocketing costs of a carriage ride these days).

In spite of summertime amusements, there are a great many of you who've asked us to bring it back The Complete Jane Austen and as such, we are ever so pleased to report that Persuasion and Northanger Abbey will air again on Sunday, August 3rd at 7:00 p.m. for your viewing pleasure.

And of course, we would be entirely out of sorts if we failed to remind you that our Afternoon with Jane Austen Tea is being brought back by popular demand on August 17th and August 24th at 2:00 p.m. Tickets to these events have been flying out of our door at an unruly speed! We are very close to sold out on August 24th and have but a few remaining pairs of tickets to the tea on August 17th. To get your tickets, call our member services department at 1.800.937.5287 or pledge online at http://www.kcts9.org/support/gifts

We hope you will join us for tea!

Cheers,
